Comedian David Spade re-lists Malibu beach house
After originally trying to sell his Malibu beach house for $16 million in 2007, actor and comedian David Spade has re-listed the home for $13.5 million. Spade, who currently stars on the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement, first acquired the property in 2005 for $9.3 million and has since invested a considerable sum into the 3700-square-foot home.According to AOL Real Estate, Spade owns a sizeable property in West Hollywood and has used the La Costa Beach beach house primarily as a vacation home, which features hardwood flooring, a custom spiral staircase and a total of four fireplaces. Adjacent to the main house is a secluded pool and spa area, as well as a combination art studio and workout room that is connected to a two-car garage. Adding to the appeal of the home is spacious indoor-outdoor private patio that enjoys picture-perfect ocean views.
